NEROX 505 and NEROX 605 pigments are suitable for both solvent and waterborne coatings systems, and offer numerous advantages including stable dispersion, high jetness and high bluish undertone. The 4-page color brochure uses charts to highlight coloristic properties in acrylic and alkyd-melamine systems, relative tinting performance, and jetness in water-based dispersions. NEROX 605 shows superior jetness and bluish undertones to NEROX 505 and a competitive product.

The Special Furnace Blacks are produced using an after-treatment process that leads to better wetting and dispersion properties and lower oil and binder adsorption. This in turn can mean better stability, higher gloss and lower viscosity in water- and solvent- borne coatings.
